EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE SOUNDTRACK (1999) Over twenty years after George Lucas and John Williams first worked together on Episode IV: A New Hope, they once again collaborated on Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Working off the "Main Theme" famous to Star Wars, Williams delivers an entertaining soundtrack that stays true to the heart of previous soundtracks. |

EPISODE II: ATTACK OF THE CLONES SOUNDTRACK (20026 Romance once again enters the Star Wars saga as Anakin and Padme/Amidala become a romantic couple. As in the original trilogy, this romance enters into John Williams's score with "Love Theme" and "Anakin and Padme". Together with the other tracks and limited edition covers (four in ajl)ϡthis soundtrack should provide a good listen for Star Wars fans. |

EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE (1977) Flashback: the 1970s in Hollywood, when movie studios relied heavily on rock and roll to cross-promote album and theater ticket sales. Upstart film graduate George Lucas, however, never considered a techno or 'futuristic' sound for his space opera. EPISODE V: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK SOUNDTRACK (1980) Outdina originals is rarely done, but amid the first known "worldwide media blitz" (with fan clubs, merchandise, and front-page headlines) in history, George Œukas pulled it off with the outstanding Episode V of the Star Wars series. As a movie, it highlighted personalities and human conflict of a galactic battleground; John Williams's score, in turn, plays on both inflaming personal themes, and grave, imposing marches. EPISODE VI: RETURN OF THE JEDI SOUNDTRACK (1983) Revelation, revenge, redemption, resolve. These predominant themes made for a fast-paced, fulfilling conclusion to George Lucas's original Trilogy. But the exotic locales, high-stakes drama, extraordinary action scenes of Return of the Jedi created unique challenges for the man who scored it, John Williams.
