"It's the most wonderful time of the year." It's also the most expensive time of the year. Unless you're Ebenezer Scrooge, the spirit of giving comes upon you, and you give according to your means. And, if you're a true giver, you don't care about what people think: your motive is not public acclaim, but to make someone else happy.
What's the point of all this talk? We're not just waxing philosophical (though we do love to do that). Rather, allow us to present you with some gift ideas for the music loving people in your life. This is our list of favorites from 2003, the albums that got us excited and made us feel like we were touching the stars. We've also provided comparisons, so if these names don't sound familiar, check to see if we would liken them to one of your favorite bands.
Besides hoping that you will buy some of these albums and support this site, we truly desire that they help you in your Christmas giving, or at least give you a pleasant diversion for a few minutes.
