What happened to the group Chasing Furies? I loved their first album (1999) and haven't heard anything since!
Sadly, it seems that Chasing Furies did indeed disappear pretty fast. For being one of the first in the onslaught of new artists, and so highly acclaimed before their album came out, it was a bit surprising that they did not make it. Although some reports say that they parted mutually, it may be also true that they were not selling as well as Sparrow Records hoped, and their label dropped them. We do know that Sarah Meeker has married Jonathan MacIntosh, who used to play for Luna Halo. They have reportedly been doing some spot dates together, mostly in worship circles. They did record an independent disc at Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego entitled Sanctuary, but all sources I can find cannot get a hold of it. The CD also featured the talents of Nathan Barlowe, who is still leading up Luna Halo. Most recently, Sarah appeared on the Soul Lift compilation, and she was credited as being on Sparrow Records, which may mean that we might find something from Sarah coming soon. As far as Sarah’s siblings are concerned, we could not find any information on any recent movement in the industry from them.
